Limited Edition Mommy & Me Sessions

A bond so special....these moments so fleeting...

Mommy & Me Sessions are my absolute favorite! Probably because I'm a mom of two beautiful little people and I know how special that bond is. Typically, Mom is the one behind the camera trying to capture all those cute little milestones and every day activities so she can remember them with detail (because those moments go by so very fast...sigh), and rarely gets to be part of those images. So, for me, it is so important to invest in professional photos that capture your interactions with your baby, toddler, or child.

Since Mother's Day is coming up, I thought I would offer a few Limited Edition Mommy & Me Sessions at a deeply discounted rate to show my appreciation for all you wonderful Mother's out there. This is your chance to get in front of the camera to capture you and your little one interacting; and have it turned into artwork you can cherish for years and pass down to future generations.

I'm limiting these sessions to FIVE. So, please contact me as soon as possible if you are interested. I offer a full-service, customized photography experience. It will begin with a pre-session consultation to determine the location, styling, and feel you'd like for your shoot. Your session can take place in your home, a favorite hangout spot, a beautiful wildflower field, or a hip, urban setting. It can be a Lifestyle shoot reading, playing, nursing your little one in his/her nursery or a stylized glamor shoot downtown--or anything in between. It's YOUR session, and it should be special to YOU and your child. After the shoot, I will hand edit your images and schedule a Gallery Reveal Session in your home. At this session, you will get to see your images, how they would look in your home, see product samples, and place your order. I offer Fine Art Prints, Ready to Hang Canvas, Metal or Bamboo Art Pieces, Heirloom Albums, Gift Prints, Cards, unique Photo Display Items, and Digital Negatives.

For this session, I am waiving the session fee. Your $150 deposit will hold your spot, and 100% of it will go towards your print order. I have packages starting at $150 and a la carte items starting at $40. Please contact me for more information or to book your session.

Ainsley Turns 10!

I used to coach this little girl. She's blossoming into a great gymnast and a beautiful young lady. She's still a tiny thing, but she's growing up--10 already!! I can't believe it. It was such a pleasure photographing her. And we had the perfect weather! This is why I love Texas. Of course, it's cold now, but it won't stay that way long....

Lost Memories - The most photographed generation will have no pictures in ten years.

This subject has been weighing heavily on my mind and my heart over the past several months--both as a photographer and as a mom. We are all guilty of it. I have countless images of my children--I share them every day on Facebook, Instagram, in texts to family--and I have very few displayed in my home. THIS WILL CHANGE.

Personally, it is my goal this year to fill my walls with images of my children and family, and to finally get all those images I have stored on USBs, CDs, SD cards and on my hard drive into printed albums that my family can enjoy for years--albums that I can pass down to my children, and they can pass down to theirs. I want my children to know they are important and beautiful. I'm pretty sure this point is better made with a photograph prominently displayed in our home than by showing them the image on the iPad.

Professionally, I feel it's my duty to ensure that the end result of my client's experience with me are tangible pieces of art. Whether that be an album, a tabletop set of prints, a large wall gallery, a tabletop canvas for your desk, or a Christmas ornament--it will be beautiful, it will be professional quality, it will be in your hands quickly. What an adorable family! I thoroughly enjoyed photographing this family...especially little David, but I do have a soft spot for sweet little 3 year old boys--having one myself :)
